Optical transfer of data in explosion-prone areas
Work environments where there is a risk of explosion must be equipped with appropriately secure network components. Our optical profibus and Ethernet networks are used very frequently in explosion-prone areas, where they guarantee secure and problem-free data transfer. Communication over fiber optic cables is used very often in these areas in particular.
Long distances and radiation which occurs when refitting motors cannot influence our fiber optic connections. Data streams are transmitted at high speed and reliably even over distances of up to 100 km. eks also develops switches and converters, which are already available in small batch series.
